I would like my tiny home to go to someone that will also love and take care of her. I am open to offers from those that are in need of a home.

I have a 33 ft. 1987 Chevy Blue Bird with under 90,000 miles. The bus originally belonged to the City of Sacramento to transport people from the jail to the prison down the block before it was retired and purchased by me. The seats have been pulled out, as this was my home for a few years.

Bus comes with a few extras like a small apartment fridge, foot pump sink, propane heater, propane cooktop and Separett toilet. Luxury vinyl flooring throughout living space. Original heater and lights are still intact.

New Carburetor, starter, and Driveline were put in 2 and a half years ago. New battery and peddle.

Needs a few repairs: We noticed that the back passenger break sometimes sticks - so though the Bus runs/drives - we would not recommend driving it a long distance until that is addressed. A vagrant tried to remove a shock on the bus (unsuccessfully) managed to detach it.

3 Door Access: 2 side doors (wheelchair access) and one rear door. Thick coats of Tropicool on roof. Gas Engine - which has been another life saver with California's strict diesel laws becoming more and more prevalent. Manual Transmission.

Bus /engine is in great condition. People have had a hard time believing it is from the 80s until I show them the title.

Tags not yet current. Clean title in hand. Tow is recommended. Sold as is.

I spoke to you on another thread about this post. If you want my estimate of this here goes:

Body looks to be in good condition. From the one Frame pic, the Frame Rails look really good for it's age, would like to see more pictures of the under carriage in different places front to back.

Will need to fix the shock before driving as mentioned by owner. Inside is demo'd and flooring installed already. Judging by the height insulation may have been added under the flooring already.

May require a roof raise as flooring looks to be raised probably from insulation, but not much to no demo is needing to be done, and some work has been done on floors. Could save a future builder time,

If engine condition and mileage are accurate, this is a great find for it's age. Would be simpler to work on too as it's a Gas Bus, and Chevy parts are plentiful.

If I had to price this out as my own bus for sale, I'd put it at probably $10k-22k. due to condition and demo being done, and possibly needing a roof raise for anyone over 5'6. Seller is only asking for $7k, so it's a good deal IMO.

I would wait on more pics though. Seller stated she was going to provide more pictures of the under carriage and inside.

Thank you once again! I saw your message and when I got out of work - I rushed over and grabbed more pictures before it got dark outside. Got pictures of the underbody as well. I'm 5'8 and still had a few inches above my head to spare - so i think the angle of my pictures made it look shorter inside, but a roof raise was one of my dreams for this bus and it would be a great addition.

Your undercarriage looks really good for it's age. This looks to be good bones. The only visible rust there, you can tell isn't scaly and is only surface, and it looks like there is a rubber coating on the under floor area to further protect it. My opinion is that this is a good body for any future buyers.

As always - I appreciate your insight. Thank you!
