7 grand-how to not raise a roof

How High is this thing? Let's say the bus started out at 10'6", and 2 feet for roof rise and 2" 6' for the steel beam tubing equals 15'. What is the max height on the interstates ? 13' 6" I think.
Then we have the missing fuel tank. Bus does not run, ain't got no fuel supply. I wonder if it has a 545 transmission that does not function. But it ran great 3 years ago, before a bunch of wires got cut for the roof raise! I wonder if is titled and insured as an RV. Why is the new tire flat?

I had a 72 inch roof, raised it 12 inches, 84 inches works now for 4in XPS flooring which I did, and 3in of PolyISO on walls and ceiling. I still have 5 inches over my head. 12 inches is a perfect roof raise for those 6ft or less. (I'm 5'11).
I can certainly see that for a 72in ceiling height. That's not unreasonable at all. This way you have room for insulation and plenty of height. for those over 6 foot.

This project is lacking common sense, sad that someone got in this deep...
At first I totally agreed. But, :lightbulb: what if.....they were going to fund their trips with advertising revenue....from whatever gets painted/printed/wrapped on those HUGE sides?? See, they are accually geniuses!

With that fact established, now we know that EWO's negative waves were a sly attempt to throw us off of the trail of success! I bet EWO has already bought that bus.

LMAO...actually, I went to see this today...1991 international, body cut off already!
I am looking for a chassis to build a 1979 f600 pickup truck with... but I passed as it has an AT545. Mechanical 7.3 engine, started right up and no smoke but wrong trans..

Looks like the same exact but as mine. Same Raised driver top cap, same trans. Would make a good donor bus for me.

Back to the "removed fuel tank" if it was rusty then the entire fuel system is suspect and needs to be at least inspected and most made new.

Pepole get in over their heads really quick and then try to off load their poor decisions on some unsuspecting poor sap. No Sir, I Don't Like It!

Man. This is a funny one. I saw a good one on the Bozeman MT marketplace the other day. Roof raised, with a massive cage sort contraption like my loft, but way bigger. @ewo1 That other cutoff bus looks decent. How much were they asking?

US federal max regular height is 14'. Many states like New York have a 13'-6" maximum for non-interstate roads. Apparently only very local limits below 13'-6" might exist. The attached file may well no longer be current info!
