81 Bluebi Internat,345 Motor Wires?

Trying to reconnect the wire harness. Having trouble identifying which wires go where in the engine compartment. The wire harness was disconnected many years ago and draped over the driver side rear view mirrors.
Anyone have any advice on getting these wires reattached to their correct locations tried locating a picture or schematic to identify where these wires have to be connected? Not very successful locating any info, for Identifying Motor Compartment wires 1981 Bluebird International 345 V8 with 5 Speed Manual Transmission?

You'll have more results searching by the chassis and year. IIRC you have an International S1700 or S1800 chassis.

A good 12 volt test light, some patience, and a notebook to write stuff down.

High and low beams, turn signals, park/running lights, a wire to the distributor, maybe three wires to the alternator, a couple of wires to the starter. Oil pressure sender, temperature sender.

Start with a charged battery, and start turning stuff on one thing at a time-- and then find the corresponding wire in the harness with the test light. That will get the easy ones-- maybe only leaving a few to figure out.

That's one way to begin the process.
