I bought this shuttle bus a few months back. I got it from a private school 200k on the clock (just broke on for a 7.3). Been wanting to do a bus conversion for awhile have had a pop up and was ready to upgrade. I gutted her and started with vinyl click lock floors. The bus needs new batteries but other than that she is in good working order. Tires are pretty good. Need some new springs up front. I'm going to keep it simple. I'm not going to insulate it I honestly don't see using it that much in the winter. I live in Colorado and if I do take it out I will probably head to Arizona or Texas. I will keep posting I would love some feedback.

Ok so to be clear this all started as my wonderful wife's idea. And I'm so glad she got us into the Skoolie life. I have lots more to upload I am just a busy guy. And thank you roach711 for your help with the tank.

So I have decided to keep the black box heater and the ac. I'm in Colorado so we get ice cold and Hot Hot here. We're kind of just winging it here with our build. The engine seems to be in good order. I guess at some point regular Gas was pit in the tank but that's no biggie for the 7.3. I've looked to see of I have an oil leak on the turbo pedestal fingers crossed. Not really any rot to speak of ( nice dry Colorado weather ohh and no salt on the roads) so well keep updating as we continue. I really want to get it out for some shake down runs anyone know where to get 2 start batteries cheep?

The Aerotech body does a pretty good job of insulating but it will never be easier to insulate than now.

If you have a Costco membership some of their stores stock batteries at a decent price. I got our 6V house batteries from them.

Here's a write up on the do's and don'ts of the 7.3L Powerstroke.

This will be the bed frame going to have the water tank underneath along with the pump. Going to build cabinets on either side and some shelves at the foot of the bed.

Nice! An Eldorado body if I'm not mistaken. They're pretty well built.
Roach it is a Eldorado and I'm really happy about that. I have read a lot on the shuttle bus and I'm really happy we didn't end up with a statecraft. She's real solid and my wife and I have lots of plans for this bumblle bee of a bus.
