Hi, this is my first post so hopefully I don't sound like an idiot here haha.

My bus cranks but has no power to lift pump or injector pump. Vp44 is brand new. I also own a Dodge with same engine so I'm not foreign to this engine by any means although the ecms are different. That's the problem I'm having. Turn the key to on, fuel gauge sweeps and lights come on, speedo and tach do nothing at all. No power to lift pump or injector pump. I've jumped both pumps to 12v power and the bus starts fine. Can't find any obvious wiring issues and so I decided to send the ECM off to a place to be checked out. They told me there were a few minor issues that could be fixed but that the main board had delaminated which couldn't be fixed so they sent me a replacement. I've just installed it and put everything back the way it was. Hooked up the batteries and I have the same exact problems...no lift pump power, no vp44 power and everything does the same thing as before.

Is there something I've missed here?

Have you checked the fuses in the grey box under the bus next to the drivers side front tire? Theres a few in there specifically for the VP44 and ECM. Also, there may be one or two left of the steering wheel under the black cover.

You say the VP44 is brand new, has any of this worked after it was replaced?

Also, did anyone flash the new ECM with the CAL for your motor? I dont know if it came from another motor, blank or what. Im also not sure what happens if you plug in an ECU with no or wrong program flashed. Hopefully the company did this before sending it to you..

Thirdly, id imagine your missing one arm and one leg for paying for an ECU. if you arent sure about my last questions, get clarification from the company you paid.

The ECM guys said it's been programmed as per the factory ECM that I sent them but I will confirm that, I have checked every fuse I can find, including the box behind the drivers side front wheel and inside the instrument cluster and inside the body next to the driver's seat. No harm in checked again though I guess
