It says right on the decal 1T7HR3B2311090770. MVP-ER.

I have two 12V batteries in parallel. Autozone suggests they are $538 apiece BCI Group size 31. I'd rather not have to replace those anytime soon.

What please is the current best suggestion for a solar battery maintainer over the winter? I expect at least one week of single digit temperatures in deg F, and here in Northern VA (Clarke Co) it is far from unheard of to see negative single digits for a week or so per winter.

I am currently following suggested best practice of not running it without driving it. This will be the first winter I do not run it for 30~40 minutes once per week.

If you have shore power available just get a 6 amp or larger battery maintainer and be fine with it. Or use a battery disconnect in the battery box. I actually do both.

I did get a harbor freight solar panel and charge controller and I guess it maintained my batteries ok but you’d have to get a lot of full sun wherever you put that panel for it to work reliably.
