I log in and start reading posts, or start writing a post or a reply. By the time I go to submit a post or reply to a post, the system has logged me out!

All that I've written is then lost. Ug!

I've notified you of this before, and the problem continues.

Why does the system log someone out while they are actively using the site?

Please reply to this post so I know someone is reading about user issues, and give feedback on how I, or you, can fix this frustrating situation.

I read your post. I never have problems that I see others here complain about.

As one with a bit of web-developer experience, I think you should tell the admin what browser you are using, also. I use a desktop browser.

It may be your browser is not allowing "cookies", or is throwing them away too fast.

Good luck! Aloha!

I'd be torqued too ;)

We use cookies to keep you logged in at page changes. Tick the remember me button as you login and make sure you have allowed cookie exchange with the site. This will likely fix your posting issues.

i never trust more than a sentence or two to any website. i'm a poor typer and a slower thinker, so i always type locally then paste globally :)

Thank you all who replied. I logged in and clicked the Remember Me box. I'll see if that works, if not, I'll delve into my cookies (computer, not snacks).

Also, all is not lost when this happens. I've been able to simply click the back arrow on the browser or press backspace to jump to the last page loaded, and the text was still there. I usually had to Ctrl-A (Select All) and Ctrl-C (Copy) to repost in a new reply, but I was able to recall what I'd typed using this method. Your results may vary.
