Advice Needed - Gunk on floors and AC and Wiring Suggestions

Hi all!

We are well on our way to really start rolling now that we have removed floors, walls and ceiling.

We are stuck on what's next....

There seems to be a lot of gunk, uneven filler around wheel wells and other areas and lots and lots of dirt that a broom just can't get. We are thinking we need a clean surface to begin filling holes in the floor then rustoleum to prep for subfloor but wondering if you guys have any suggestions on how to get everything cleaned up? Should we worry about the leftover gunk? Do we pressure wash the inside? What do we do with all the loose wiring and hoses?

Also, we removed the back ac/heater unit but left the front and wondering if anyone has any suggestions on keeping/removing? It is SO bulky and I personally don't like it but my husband says there are people out there that build a box around it and it's not such an eye sore. It also wasn't working when we bought the bus but he thinks it would be easy enough to repair and may just need some fluids.

Idea of what we are thinking for next project steps:

1. Clean inside
2. Seal floors
3. Raise roof
4. Subfloor

**Somewhere in here I assume we need to do something about the wiring - also a speed bump is the front driver area wiring and all. Having trouble figuring out how to remove driver panel to figure out which wiring to keep and not keep. Any suggestions here are welcome!!!

I know this is a lot of questions but any guidance on "whats next" or suggestions on any or all topics above would be greatly appreciated!!!

If you have access to one, a pressure washer is the right tool to use.

After the pressure wash if anything still remains in the cracks, a shopvac does well in those areas.
If you're going to the trouble of raising the roof, you should consider running the wiring under paneling or behind walls. It makes it difficult to get to if you have wiring issues later, but it really keeps things out of the way and protected nicely if run correctly.

As far as the front control panel goes, they can be a hornets nest to try to work through.
Try to find a wiring diagram for your bus, and it might help you/your hubby in that complicated and critical area...

I only wish I could be more help in your wiring issue, but each bus has its own unique wire runs that can vary from year to year, sometimes.
They're just no fun to deal with, but are a necessary and critical part of a skoolie even after its school use is done.
