The Bus has been parked for about 7-10 days. Yesterday I removed the harness for the lights and sensors for emergency exists.

Now the air brakes wont release. No alarms sound. Just the brakes wont release. Both tanks are at 120psi and I can hear the air cycling through as I press on the pedal. The pressure release valve also releases normally.

While it’s possible that the airbrake release switch is connected to the emergency exit circuit, I don’t know this for sure.

The bus is a 2007 IC CE.

Has to be one of the exit sensors.
I always disconnected one and started the engine.
That way I knew exactly which one.
Maybe start with jumper wires to figure out which one?

Probably. Installing a hitch receiver today. So when that’s done I’ll track down the circuit. Determine if it’s an open or close circuit and fix it. Fairly easy to determine if the switch is open or closed when static or activated.

Yes there is a safety connection to back doors drops brakes from releasing it thinks does are open

I'm surprised there isn't an audible warning that a door is "open". Surprising also that yours allows you to start the engine with an "open" door. Mine are all connected to the starter, open door, no turning the motor.
