Air Leaking - is this normal?

Hi all,

Just got the bus back from the mechanic. I replaced the transmission, the rear seal, TCM, and a bunch of other small things. I just moved the bus, and walking away, I could hear air leaking from the engine area. I just learned it is an air-controlled throttle. Is this normal? I took a video. We are planning on a relatively large road trip and hoping this is either normal or an easy fix.

It is a 1998 Thomas with a Cummins 8.3.

Look for the source of the leak. If it is an air controlled throttle like you say, then there should be a vinyl/ hard plastic hose the feeds it. Most times they are press fit and do come loose. Could be as easy as pushing it back in.

But for right now, find the source if the leak, upload a pic and im sure you'll get a better response.

Thanks. I looked closer and pushed both small air hoses in, but the air was still leaking. I don't think it is coming from the hoses, but from what part they go into. I don't know what the part would be called. It probably isn't clear in the video but when I tilt the part up (it is misses two screws from its baseplate) it leaks more, when I push it down it leaks less. I took it off, and it didn't look like it had a gasket, but under the baseplate, there appeared to be a screw. I will have to take a picture tomorrow. My one thought was if it was leaking from the screw, I could put some sealant on it until I could get a replacement part.

The throttle did seem loose when I moved it this morning, which would make sense if air was leaking.

Took some additional photos. The first is the part that the air is leaking from. It is not leaking from the hose or connections. It is leaking from the two holes under it, it looks like there might have been a screw there at some point. I thought about putting some type of sealant on it, but if it is suppose to release air I don't want to do that. I just don't ever remember air leaking from there before.
