I got my hands on a deal for Allison 3000 filters.
The part number is 29540493

I purchased 15 boxes, keeping 2.

distributed to the government thru Advantage West under part number 8362.

These are new/old stock, military surplus.
Filters were made in Italy.

The Allison 3000 uses 2 different type of filters, a 2 inch and a 4 inch.
These units are the 2 inch model which is commonly used in school busses.
It is easy to tell which one you need by simply looking at the sump pump of your tranny. The small pan measures 1.75" and the large pan measures 3.5".

These unit are new and I am selling at cost.
Bought the lot so I could change the filters in my 2 busses.

I have seen them on ebay, Filter only (1) at $39.99 ea. --> https://www.ebay.com/itm/387523215519

Or for the full kit, 2 filters and gasket with O rings for $45.00. --> https://www.ebay.com/itm/326072462977

I am selling the box set, 2 filters, gasket and new O-rings
for $35.00.

Shipping is up to you... Questions ??

I got another 6 boxes to check on tomorrow...if I find the 4 inch filters, same price!

Price adjustment - $30.00

So I took a look at the other boxes and they are all the same.
P/n 29540493

I'm not looking to profit on this, I just want to take what I need and pass the rest along the line.

These are all 29540493 filters for the 4 inch, with O-rings set.

I lowered the price to $30 bucks a set. Shipping cost on you!

If your a member here with at least 100 posts, I'll give you a set for $25 bucks.
Why - ? Just to say thanks for being here and giving folks a helping hand. I have learned alot from all you guys!

You may not need the filters today but when you do, it will cost you double if not triple!

According to the allison chart page 3, in post 1, Filters should be changed at different schedules depending on what type of trans fluid you use.

75,000 miles if you are using Transynd or TES 295.

25,000 miles if you are using TES 389, DEXRON V1 or mixture.

If you have no idea, like me, on how old your filter is...time to make a decision....

 Filters are located in Central Tx.... If you drive your bus to the Fort Hood area, I will give you a (1) set for free!
