I am sort of sold on an early 90's mechanical pump dt466. Do they all have provisions for altitude changes or do I need to adjust it manually while travelling? I'm sort of buying a drivetrain first, and hopefully there is a cool bus on it.

A turbo diesel doesn't require altitude compensation. Diesel engines are not dependant on a specific air/fuel mixture to run properly the way that gas engines are.

Thanks! only diesel i'm familiar with is my 76 Ford backhoe so I have much to learn.
