You will lose more diesel than that sitting in traffic for hours. I've lived in Garden Grove, Fullerton and Westminster. My brother is a contractor their and has lots of reasons for putting his home for sale yesterday. It is a nice place to visit, just stay in Orange county.

Thanks for the tip, and welcome aboard! As for California.. most of us don't need any more reasons to avoid it. :)

wow! definitely don't have that problem here! It's zero right now, supposed to be -4 tonight with a high of 10 tomorrow. zero is cold enough you can keep your ice cream outside instead of in your freezer. zero is also so cold that salt is not effective when it comes to melting snow and ice. This is not a good climate if you're homeless.

glad i have a woodstove at my house. it's been 80 in here all day!

Sitting here in the deep freeze in Indianapolis which is a walk in the park compared to our Skoolie friends in the Great White North I must be honest and admit that my brother called and asked if I could help him move a load of tools from SoCal and I had my bags packed before he was off of the phone.
