Interesting. Mine has a bar but listen up and down and also tilts it.not sure. Mine has a floor switch to operate the tilt steering so you don't have to take your hand off the wheel to adjust it.
Thank you I hadn't thought of that. It's a possibilityOn some Bluebirds it is a switch for the air horns. May never have been used and corroded.
My wires are still all intact. I have a master switch for all the lights at my elbow along with all the other switches. I thought they were all on and working, but I haven't had them on since it's been parked. I don't know what to call it but I have this light monitor above my head at the driver's seat tells me what lights are on.Does it start the school bus flashers? If you've already disconnected them, that may be why you can't find what it does. Mine has a floor switch as well to engage the lights when the "master switch" switch is turned on.

You're the winner by the way. I emailed the mechanic where I bought the bus. He said exactly what you just did.Does it start the school bus flashers? If you've already disconnected them, that may be why you can't find what it does. Mine has a floor switch as well to engage the lights when the "master switch" switch is turned on.

Lol that's about right.
