anyone else interested in one of these? - the trucker I got this one from has another one - he thought it was sold when I got mine, but the sale fell through - $200 US - I want to use mine on the bus I get, but it would be good for other uses too - on a flat deck trailer to shield ATV's or snowmobiles while in transit, or some other load that needs protection - would likely be good for it's intended use on a semi trailer - imagination has no limits - it's in excellent condition

What're the dimensions?
I tried using the ladder in the background to scale it, assuming it's a 6-footer, (and not some wacky Canadian 2-metre ladder) adjusted for it's remove from the fiberglass dealy-bob's backside, allowed for depth of field, and arrived at it being a RCH over 7' wide.
Dang! Forgot about paralax error!

it's about an 1 1/2" short of being 8' wide, but should be simple enough to make an adjustment to widen or narrow it slightly

Which should ought let it perch on a bus...
So, maybe 3 - 3.5' tall?
(Don't have an immediate need for an air deflector, my plate is already slopping over onto the floor. But the idea has merit...)

I think it's a shade more than 40 " tall - a good deflector for what's being carried on the deck

my plan was to rid the bus of it's flat forehead, substituting the deflector for the forehead, AND have a deflector for things on the roof deck

Yup, the idea DOES have merit!
I'm thinking this is plastic (fiberglass) surgery to lose, or at least hide, that embarrassing Neanderthal brow...

my thoughts exactly - AND - a bus is not exactly aerodynamic and the Neanderthal brow doesn't help in the least - to gain a 1/10th of a mile per gallon at Canadian prices for fuel, $200 seems like a good investment towards saving in fuel costs and a better appearance, and it should make the transition for a roof raise much simpler to accomplish

0.1 MPG improvement might be optimistic, or not! Let's think Happy Thoughts while awaiting results from the wind tunnel tests.
Hadn't considered the RR transition, might just be a boon.
At the very least, the more dainty items up there could be tucked in for protection from the wind and rain.
