I'm just getting started on my short bus build, but I'm already thinking I'll want a roll out awning on the side of the bus. They are expensive! What is the best bang for your buck regarding an awning? Has anyone ever used an awning designed for a house on a bus? A link below to an awning on sale at Menards I found...

On my last bus I had a 20' awning and used the heck out of it. I bought it from the Monico factory outlet for $200.

Unfortunately the outlet store has since closed down.

I salvaged a 10 foot awning off a camper I canabalized for parts and plan to use it if I can find a good way to mount it. I like the shade option.

not sure how hwy travel would fare with the end flapping in the breeze as it doesn't look like it rolls all the way up like an RV model.

Most of those fringe ends are not actually part of the main cloth they are attached to the front rail and can be removed
