None of our 7000 PCs at work got infected, so I guess it was probably a hoax.

It's very real, I'm working on a friend's PC that has it. If he had kept his "updates" up to date, he wouldn't be having this trouble now.

It is very real, but it has been around since last October. It was just set to "phone home" on April 1, I don't know why it is making news this time around, it has been around for a long time.
