Art Walk

We were asked by the local Contemporary Arts Council to have the bus in the local Art Walk. I had written an article for the local newspaper, so when the day came, we were swamped. The bus was a huge hit! Several hundred people toured the bus and many didn't want to leave. We always had folks sitting on the couch as a constant procession of people came through and looked around. The newspaper article had come out two days previous (un-beknownst to us) so many people came in quoting the article and saying they had to see "Lurlene". We were also on a couple of the local news broadcasts and didn't know it. All in all it was great fun. We told everyone about this wonderful "skoolie" site and tried to encourage more potential converters.
