What is it? At first my guess was a bookmobile, then a mobile dental clinic, then a mobile office. I guess I just don't know.

Though it would be interesting to know what it fetches at the auction.

I'm thinking it was a mobile doctors office for the poor and under/uninsured.

Spec'd from bluebird, it has a cummins isb, at545, and juice brakes. Kinda lackluster and bottom of the barrel if you ask me.

The roof raise has me perplexed. It looks like it could have been factory, but the gap panel in the back looks chintzy and non-factory to me.

It will be interesting to see what it goes for.

price is stupid, imo.

At $15,000, I agree. But that's the buy it now price.

It's going to auction this coming monday, we'll see what it brings then. I'm guessing it will be closer to 10% of that.

I'd consider being a buyer at that price, the problem is you have to be registered and pay a fee to be a buyer, I'm not interested in paying $200 to register for a one time purchase that might not happen. I might call around and see if any of the local car dealers around me are members.

Well, today is the day. Looks like it has 2 prebidders with the highest starting the auction off at $3500. It's more then what I think it's worth, but in these crazy times, who knows anymore.

The actual site it's selling on isn't the sca auctions listing above, But insurance auto auctions listed HERE

You have to be registered and pay their yearly fee of something like 200 bucks to bid on it. You also have to have a dealer's license for the state of Ohio.

I think that sca auctions website might be a broker for IAA, so you could possibly buy it through them, but I have no idea on the fees of doing so. Every time I've looked at using a broker it wasn't cheap.

Good luck to those that are bidding. At 3500 it's more then what I consider it to be worth.

It was bid up to 3900, sold pending seller approval. We'll see if the seller sells it at that or if it's listed again next week. It was listed by a place called Performance Auto, I'm half tempted to call and ask about it tomorrow.

Well, the seller must not have approved, because it's back up for bid at next weeks auction. OR buy it now for 7500.

I think I might call today and see what the scoop is.

I have a friend that got one similar it was a blood mobile. It is a Tank way over built has 2 big diesel generators and 4 A/C heavy as ****. His has a electric ebecurrent brake system on it in the drive line. It's a fun party on wheels we drive it all over the beach in Carova NC.
