This is a description I found interesting:

The bus will need to be towed, it DOES NOT run.

The bus has engine and other damage. Parts are missing.

Identical description on the entire fleet, it looks like? I also saw something similar on the last fleet I saw, the seller described ALL the fleet as "needs to be towed" when NONE of them did they just needed batteries?

So I am curious, is this some sort of strategy for the sellers or the buyers? Why would thy do this?

maybe only because the person that listed them does not have the condition details for each bus.

So to cover their arse and laziness they describe them all the same way, making no false claims as far as operating conditions.

laziness would be my guess. But who knows. The bus I just bought was sorta like that. they used the same pic and description for about ten or twelve buses.

Or his buddy buys them cheap since no one bids on the POS bus. They list them on CL & split the profit.

Just a guess.

"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity,"

I get a kick out of gov auctions and reading-between the lines. My bus was listed with some shorter- 25 foot buses, they copypasta'd the text, and said mine was 25', was 40'.
