Austin, Tx. Allowing Street Camping Anywhere

And to think I was worried a few weeks ago picking up our bus. If the brakes had locked up or the tranny failed, I could have just popped a tent wherever I stopped and pulled a cold one from the cooler

On a more serious note (as in completely serious), I'd take homeless camping on our street any day over the full time AirBnB next door to us. A better class of people by far.

So does Berkeley and San Francisco. While I support the rights of people to exist as they wish, I have seen those environments devolve into piles of trash and human-pie hopscotch. It would be nice for the people that are “camping” would practice the wildernesses Leave No Trace principles and not ruin it for the rest of us.
