Hello and thanks for looking.

Roof is up 14.5 "
Hat channels are welded in except for forward and aft.

Picking up steel tomorrow to skin the bus. Weather is gtg.

Using 4x10 cold rolled steel 18 guage. (appox. .050 thk)

My question is about screws...

Who has had success with what?

I'm thinking:
*Pilot hole 1/8
*Run a 3/16 pan head SS screw.
*Boom?

Anyone have a better way?

Thanks!

I did similar with aluminum panels and sicaflex. Premounted drilled oversize hole in aluminum panel. Drilled pilot holes in aluminum bus frame. Took panel down. Clean degrease. Powder coat panel. apply sicaflex and in stall panel.

Worked for me.
