I am building out my 40 footer and am to the point where I need to make the floor plan decisions. I keep putting it off because I’m afraid I’ll find something cooler right after I run all my plumbing….. anyway with that in mind I was wondering why more people do not put their bathrooms towards the front of the bus? When camping we will be outside more often than inside, so I see some logic in putting the bathroom closer to the entrance for easy access.

That said, I don’t see this being done, so before I go too deep down this rabbit hole, I figured I better ask the hive mind. What say you?

Most people have their battery boxes there, and not much room. If you have room for the tanks there and can connect the kitchen to it as well, there's no reason not to.

Take measurements and if you have the room and can mount the tanks, no reason you cannot.

Can't say I've done it yet but my current plans are to have the wet bathroom right behind the drivers seat followed by the kitchen.

To me this makes the most sense so all water is in that small footprint.
However I have a short bus so the front and back is a difference of like 15 feet lol.
