Hey everyone! I made a video detailing the progress that I've made so far with my bus! This will very likely be a slow burn as I have a lot of other debts to pay off before I can focus on this project, and because I don't really have a spot to do any work besides the streets of my neighborhood. I hope you'll enjoy my progress nonetheless!

I also want to point out that in the video, I mention that I haven't given the bus a name yet, but I've titled this thread "Becky the Bus." The name is in honor of my dog who we unfortunately had to say goodbye to last month. I'm planning on making this a surprise a surprise for my parents who will probably watch the video, so I didn't want to mention it there. They won't know until I get decals made for the bus.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Happy holidays from Becky the Bus!

Sorry to hear about your dog, but naming it after Becky is a sweet idea. Decals for the surprise win.

Update: I got around to installing a new hatch! This is replacing the old emergency roof hatch that had started to rot and crack, causing leaks. I made a video about it:

I'm happy to say that since the video, we've had some pretty nasty rain and the roof held up without leaks!

It will leak if you drive while raining. Or if a storm is very strong like sideways rain.

The way I'd fix it is to unscrew the sides and allow the frame to sync back up to the glass, and then make some sort of in-between screw blocks to screw through to be in-between the inner and outer frame.

Also you will need to go up there and also use sika flex or silicon around the outside edge of hatch where the roof meets the frame.

Just uploaded a new video! This is a recap of the past month or so, and briefly covers me having to replace the ignition switch after the key broke off in it 🙃 I also found a solution for the hatch side-gaps, and it has held up for the past two months!

Didn't you wreck this bus into something recently? What occurred after that?
Not much.. I updated my other thread but essentially my premium went up by $100, but I'm not even sure if that was related to the accident. As for the damage, she didn't even flinch. There's a very minor scuff behind the rear left wheel that I can rub off with a towel. I did mess up the other cars fender a bit though
