Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on where some options are to sell a bus. I am hesitant about Craigslist and was thinking Facebook marketplace. Does this site have a classifieds add or can anyone recommend a place to list it? It’s a full size International FE dt466/Al 646 trans. Thanks

yes on this forum go to the home page and scroll down to find the classifieds, buy, sell, swap section once there the top left is new post and you have enough post to be able to post pics.
give as much info. as you can and to start with verify your transmission.
did you mean 643 instead of 646.
any maitenance records you have.
date and condition of tires.
underside pics of everything you can see.

Facebook marketplace has loads of millenials looking to become financially free by owning an old bus. I would list mine there for the best chance of getting money back out of it. :)

Skoolie Nation for sure.

Skoolie Nation doesn't permit sales, but there is a dedicated Skoolies For Sale group on FB.

Personally, I would list any potential sales here in the classified section...where I'm much more likely to get legit responses and less likely to get all the dumb comments. :)

Looks like a lot of fools being separated from their money on the fb skoolie pages.

And even more people thinking their 2010 Maxxforce DT with 175k miles and "runs fine but we had a life plan change" is worth $35k because they took the seats out and painted over the rust on the floor....

Or the 2006 VT365 with 145k miles "never had an issue in the 3 days we've owned it, we're just moving to France instead" is worth $45k because "the school district took really good care of it according to the dealer we bought it from and we're including some Amazon parts and overrpriced Renogoy equipment we ordered for it but never installed." The same bus that's worth that because it also has "An allison transmission but we have no clue which model!"

I'm "on notice" (along with everyone else) for pointing out issues with those engines on listings. I wish somebody had told me about everything that's wrong with a 2008 MaxxforceDT or a 2006 VT365 before I bought them for my fleet and got edumucated the hard way via my wallet :banghead:
