If you want people to actually be able to hear the piano, electric drive is the way to go. The golf cart motor should work fine. You can put plenty of batteries under the bench. Strap the honda gennie on anyway just so you can call it hybrid drive.

Right. I don't expect we will try to drive and play at the same time, but I'm borrowing a Variac transformer to experiment with the electric motor I have.

All right.... This is the closest I've come so far:

1979 Honda CB 750 F Super Sport -- a four-cylinder. Hardly the sound I'm looking for, but a 750 cc would no doubt have enough power to go 5 MPH!

On the other hand, this model is somewhat sought after, so I might sell this one and buy three or four lawn tractors or something.
