My bus has the common problem where the dashboard gauges occasionally freeze for a couple of minutes, and my understanding is that to fix the problem I need to fix the soldered connections to the existing data link. If I get this BlueFire and hook it up to my iPad, will I still have the intermittent freezing problem or will this gadget fix that?
Related, if I attempt to fix the existing data link myself and screw it up, would this BlueFire device be an immediate fix?
