i stripped my bus of tail and marker lights and replace them with led's. anyone want them free pay shipping, lenses bulbs were in fine shape when i removed them, might be missing one or two but almost all there, i just wanted the led's.

other question, how about posting some pictures of your installed LEDS?
and what kind of lights did you get for your backup lights, where and how much?

sorry no pics. theyre older of an 85. plain rear lenses with the 8 ways with the rain shileds overhead. running lights arent all there and the metal around them is a bit rusty. im just going to keep the bulbs for reverse lights as the led's are so expensive and they dont get used that often anyway

My first Gillig has driving lights in 2 of the rear 8-way housings. Having the lights so high up is, well, amazing!! Highly recommended to try and find lights that will fit. I've thought about doing the same up front, but am concerned with glare. Could be useful for those occasional runs down the local desert roads here in Northern NV. Those rears REALLY light things up, and for a LONG way!
I suggest also wiring a buzzer at the dash switch. RadioShack has small, micro buzzers cheap. I ended up wrapping mine with electrical tape, so it is heard, but not at all annoying. Did this after my wife got pulled over for having 220 watts of rear lights on. Sometimes the indicator light just isn't enough!

I'm partial to wide angle work lights available at northern tool, tractor supply or your local farm store, thy are robust and come with their own weather tight adjustable mounting buckets. another option is 4"auxillary lights from NAPA if your counter person is helpful, you can get aircraft landing light bulbs to fit the buckets.
