I haven't begun to read anyones conversations or discussions yet. I'm contemplating the purchase of a 1960 Chevy.

All signs are leading to YES I SHOULD. I just don't know where I would store it all the time.

........ Any suggestions? Anyone have issues with parking tickets?

Well, what kind of ideas. other than RV parks are there, to park in?

I've thought of Public Water access sites. Or, grocery stores. I'm sure I could stay there for a couple nights at end?

I could just drive it.

All day, all night. Sleep. Bring it back to work. I can park here. I'll bet I could make it through the parking lot.

Like just drive from grocery store to grocery store, back to work each day. For awhile.

Other issues include:
MN.
And Type I diabetes. I really need to rely on health insurance... or INSULIN! from something...

Some self-storage facilities have a little extra space beside the buildings for vehicle storage. That might not be a convenient or secure place to be working on a conversion, however.

Correct. I've thought a little about that. Not to mention my rig, I'm comparing to buy. Is actually used as a business billboard currently. As I wouldn't mind doing that myself for my business.

Thanks for the reply. Please keep ideas coming!

Driving a bus gets costly fast. They make terrible mileage.

If your on insulin, remove all refined sugar from your diet. I mean All. Even the sugar in table salt is enough to put me back on insulin. I have been insulin free for around 5 years now.

This is what doctors don't want you to know.

There are very few people on here that can honestly say that they stayed within the timeframe they originally scheduled to get their conversion done and get on the road.

Don't count on parking just anywhere while you convert. You may be thinking "Oh, I only need to do this for a couple of weeks or a couple of months", when actually, it could possible end up being a couple of years.

We are in the process of converting and actually didn't really set a time to get it done, but I can tell you, that both of us never thought that we would have so little done in 2 1/2 years.

Time, illness, weather has kicked the **** out of our game plan (as bad as the plan was).

As already told....plan on having a place to put her before you buy her.

My question is. If I were to rent at an apartment. Would they allow me to park a bus?

I could say it's for business use too. I mean, it is. LIFE BUSINESS

Most likely not.

It may depend on where you are.

Even our bus company is under fire. They don't want us any closer that 25 miles from town due to the massive numbers of people complaining about ugly yellow buses.

The all think they live in the Hampton's.

I THINK I FOUND SOME LAND TO PARK IT ON!
That I will also purchase. Where I want to live!

How cool! This is all becoming VERY REAL, and VERY POSSIBLE!

I'm right on schedule, when I started three years ago I figured I'll have it done in two years, I still figure I'll have it done two years from now. :D

It's the same with trucks, everyone want's their "stuff", but no one want's to see a truck. If you have it, a truck brought it.

I personally feel. If I were to start a project. I like to finish my projects. I mean, they're always a "Work in progress".

I finished my muscle car project in 16 years. Built 500horse power. Never got a return out of it.

Now i can buy a bus. Build a bus. & reap the rewards AFTER. and as soon as I start. I'd even plan on living it while I did what I wanted to do on the bus.

I hate to sound like Nat but, seriously.....do you expect us to answer whether your (as yet unnamed & unknown) landlord will allow you to park it there.

Give us a break here....try asking questions that can actually be answered.
