Building/buying basement or underside storage compartments?

Still in planning stages over here, but odds are fair that we will either get a bus with no underside storage compartments, or will require more anyway.
How can we easily add more? Do we scavenge bits off of other vehicles, or order new parts?
RV salvage yard bits perhaps?

One thing is for sure, I am going to need another welder, as I sold ours when we moved. DOH!

We will need a lot of this, frankly. We travel with a lot of gear. Climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, motorcycling, all have an extensive gear requirement. It's one of the biggest reasons we are moving into a larger vehicle.

there is a guy on here named Andy but I haven't seen him on here in a long time. he built some nice storage bays. I couldn't find him in the gallery but I did have his web site bookmarked
