Bulk editing old thread (links)

Good day, admins.

I've been away for about 2 years getting life together and finally will be reuniting with my bus and this forum. In the meantime however, my website registration expired and some company took it because they thought it would be popular enough to sell back to me for THOUSANDS of dollars. That's not gonna happen so I will get a new website.

Is there a way to edit the posts I have made that link pictures and change those links to the new web address? If not, I will have to make a new thread and slowly copy eveything across if you all don't mind, then delete the thread.

There's no simple way to do this although individual posts can be manually edited to update urls. The simplest thing here might be to hit the report post icon when you see one of these and ask to have the url updated on that post. we can fix them as you find them

We might be able to do thins grammatically if there are over 100... Can you give me the url of the old site and then the new ?

I don't have the new site yet, but should by the end of the week. I'll post both urls here at that time.

Someone from the admin team should be able to do it on the database end. I know a simple mysql query could pull it off (well, not 'that' simple, but you get my point :-D)
