Bus Conversion Questions

I've been stuck deciding between an rv, converted van or converted bus however now I believe that I'd be happiest in a converted short/shuttle bus. With that being said I've got a lot of questions!

1. How much did you guys spend to buy your bus and then convert it?
2. How much is your insurance what insurance company did you go with?
3. For those who have been living in a bus for a bit now, do you feel you went the right route?
4. To solo women! What have been your experiences going solo? have you had any scares or has it been great overall?
5. How did you go about licensing your bus as a motorhome? Have you heard of the "vermont" method? If so did it work for you?
