You got rid of the entire seat? Mounting base and everything? Was it an air ride seat?I need to move my bus from where it is but with trying to convert it and all I got rid of the seat. Can't drive standing up... or could I? Wish I wouldn't have trashed it but was planning to replace it and didn't think twice
What could I do??

Around as in miles or on the street with traffic? Was the bucket held down some type of way?

Got rid of it all. No air ride. The seat was horrible, extremely uncomfortable. Drove from Mississippi to Houston on that thing smh
Got pulled over buy a cop because I had no plates, tags or anything and the title was in storage. Surprisingly he let me go! Shocked the hell outta me. He even saw the lawn chair lol
Thanks to everyone who suggested using a lawn chair, it worked! And I wasn't sliding all over the place like I thought I would lol. I used a zero gravity chair that i had and it was much more comfortable than the original stock seat

Oh, I almost paid over $400 to get it towed smh
That's the first time I've heard of anyone in a school bus getting pulled over for no tags! I drove mine for 400 miles without any, and took shortest route (through cities, no interstate) all the way. Several times, I had police behind/beside me - no issues.
Now what really surprises me is he let you go with the lawn chair!!
Cool story - happy ending!! :marshmallow:
