Bus won't start: How to I open this door to the batteries?

Hi! PLEASE ADVISE
Road Sloth is finally title in hand, street legal, and registered but now she won't start! I think it's as simple as dead batteries but I can't open this door to access the batteries. Please see photos:
(I don't known why the 2nd pic loaded sideways)

Are the holes on the right latches? Look inside this holes to see if there’s a slot

May be bolted closed with carriage bolts. Can you see if there are nuts on the back side of the skirt you can access?

Try a screwdriver in there to unlock them.

If you get no satisfaction that way grind off the rivets.

Pretty sure that is the right location. There’s got to be a way to open the door. A release handle inside the cabin maybe?

Try inserting a 3/8" ratchet extension in the 2 holes and turn ccw.

Tap on the bottom of the box, does it sound hollow, or like a thud because the weight of batteries is on it?

It's open! Yes! Flat head screw driver in the holes and turn it to the right - my first screwdriver was too short!

That'll be $4910 please. $10 for knowing where to put the tool and $4900 for knowing what tool to use. .

If the hole inside is square, the tool is a T handle with a tapered square. Most any thing that fits the hole closely should work.

Usually more than two for starting the bus isn’t a thing. I think the house batteries are somewhere else, these must just be for starting. Correct me if I’m wrong.

My Genesis with a DT466 came with only one Group 31 start battery.

Well, my bus came with three batteries and the tray is clearly designed to hold three of them. Having just bought and installed three replacement batteries, I'm interested to know whether I could have bought just two or one instead.
