buses under 26,001lbs

so i was starting to wonder what i could legally drive with my current class C license.

Does anyone know what size buses are under the 26,001lb gvwr? The 10 window i looked at was 27ish, so i was assuming maybe an 8 or 9 window, or are there other factors im not aware of?

One thing you could do, if you haven't already, is download the Texas DOT guide for taking their Non-Commercial Class B test.

It might not be all that arduous, and any training and practise you get would be worth it.

I do know that's not what you were asking, but thought it worth a mention.

class B even as an RV. ive already looked at the class B requirements for license, im just wondering what size buses typically fall under that rated weight

edit - more than likely i will be getting my non commercial class b, at some point, but ive been thinking lately of going with one a little smaller and upgrading somewhere down the line assuming i still enjoy skoolie life. im still unsure if thats the way i want to go but im considering it right now

something like that is what im considering. not too much smaller, but just under the limit.
this one looks good, just want something a little closer to home, and dont really have a need for the rear HC door as i plan on getting a hitch for a bike of some sort, eventually trailer a small car/truck

on gates vin decoder, GVWR says 19,500-26,000 so im assuming that one is fine, but dont know what actual rating is listed at

Washington state exempts all RV/Motorhomes. Weight doesn’t matter only the use.

Oregon, California and Arizona are pretty much the same. California has a length rule. As best I understand it, up to 40' regardless of weight you don't need any additional licensing. Over 40' requires a license upgrade of some sort.
