Buying a bus for the first time, what questions do I need to ask

Hello Everyone!

I'm planning on buying a bus (used) before the end of the year, sooner rather than later I'd either like a short skoolie, or even a church bus/shuttle.

I've been looking at some local ads, but something that always stops me from reaching out is...I don't know what questions to ask!

What do you ask seller? How do you examine the bus? What do you look for when buying a bus? Has anyone bought a bus and then wished they'd asked certain things after the fact?

Any and all of your advice is welcomed and appreciated! And if anyone knows of another thread or site that covers this more fully, I would love that!!
