Buying Advise?

Looking for some opinions as I'm looking into bus/RV life for the first time. I've settled on 2 RV possibilities and then this cute little guy showed up! I've already missed out on one nice bus, I don't want to miss out again. But I'd like some opinions so I don't make a mistake

I think I saw this posted on some FB groups. Get a old school diesel mechanic to go with you to check out the bus. It looks like an old manual bus. Obviously needs updating and I would put some more windows in it. But if engine and transmission are in good shape, and no rust, and the tires are in good shape, you can't go wrong. Also looks like pretty easy project to turn into a toy hauler with that back area being open.

Nice little build for the money. Much more info needed about the bus though. Drivetrain, mileage, insulation? It's in Calif., so that might be a plus if it grew up there.

It’s cheap. What’s wrong with it? Maybe they just want to move it along, but it seems like it would be selling for more.
