Changing time?

Is there any way to change the time displayed for when a post happened? It's in GMT right now and I'd like it to display the current time for me EDT/EST. I've looked in my user control panel and couldn't find anything and I searched here and came up with nothing as well.

control panel.....edit options.....WAY down the list is time zone selection
