Check out this rooftop patio I saw today

So I was driving today and this caught my eye. I turned around and took some pictures to put up here. Someone slapped the top of a pontoon on a bus and it looked alright. It made me chuckle that they left the shade and the steering wheel on.

This is in Des Moines, IA so I assume it's a RAGRAI bus. I know I want to party with them.

Any thoughts on cost of this compared to building out your own? I have no idea how difficult a salvage pontoon is to get.

Not that hard if you live near a large body of water.....check marinas and boat repair yards.

My brother and some of his friends went in together and bought a "pontoon boat".....basically the pontoons, deck, and about half the railings were usable (I think they paid around $400). They built a tiki hut on it and take turns towing it behind their boats as their 'party barge'. No kids allowed on the barge.
