COLORADO Skoolie Storage/Workshop CO-OP???

Has anyone heard of this place somewhere off the 25 outside of Denver where you can STORE your Skoolie as you WORK on it?

It's not for living, the hours are 8am-8pm,
There are tools on sight available as well as a sort of Skoolie Graveyard and other Skoolies buying/ trading parts.

It sounds like a bus conversion utopia....

I just can't figure out where it is or how to reach the people in charge.

My husband and I live in Louisville and are having trouble finding a place to park and work on our skoolie in the Denver area. Any suggestions?

i'd happily host a Colorado bus building working party weekend or 2.

i've got the space and tools. maybe we could gang up on a few projects and knock them past the next step.

on the down side, my rural property is at least 100 miles from anyone in colorado, way out up on the northeastern plains of the state. And you can't store your bus here.

Seriously though, there is a guy in Commerce City (think that is where he is)
that does conversions for people.

absolutely, i'm always happy to meet another skoolie! my place is just a couple miles east of North Sterling Reservoir. if you're ever in the hood.....

Don't post here much, but I live in a Denver suburb and have never heard of such a thing.

I'm pretty familiar with the skoolie world around here - I drive limos and party buses for a living, own my own skoolie/am shopping for a second one, and am experienced in spray foam insulation, wood stove and off-grid solar installation.

Not sayin I know everything, but I don't think such a place exits.

Then three's the space issue: the "front range" counties that make up the I-25 corridor all have exploding populations and metastatic bureaucracies. Housing is well into bubble territory again, plus the marijuana industry has bid commercial and industrial space even further off the charts.

Josh at Tiny Visions, Inc. sells used buses when he has them, and two of his customers are paying to store and work on their bus on the lot in Sedalia. There's not much space there, and the primary use for the lot is his family's paving business. I doubt there's room for a third, and I doubt it would work at all unless you bought your bus from him. (This wouldn't be a bad idea if you're going to a dealer around here. He strikes me as FAR more honest than any competitors...)

Colorado was a great place three million people ago!

I am a native, and remember the 'good ol days'

For me it's a double edged sword as I work in the construction industry, and my livelihood relies heavily on all of the transplants.

At least we can temporarily call the stadium by it's proper name:

A new place just opened up a few weeks ago, called Colorado Custom Coachworks. It's in North Denver near the arts district. They have lots of space, tools and knowledge for DIY builders

Try old struggling farms. They have lots of junk equipment the buses will blend in with and they can use a few extra dollars. I’m at my 4th farm. Former dairy country is easy as derelict farms are looking for income or caretakers. Some can use a watchman and even let someone live there in a RV or bus. It’s what I do. They even let me use their tools and barns sometimes. Bless their hearts. Saved me a fortune I don’t have. One of the farm owners became my girlfriend for 4 years. She helped me with space and I helped her move to Florida when she sold the farm.
