So it's a bit more than just fixing the ignition on 101. Now you're also replacing the master cylinder.

What's the mileage on 101?

its not mattewr of posting too much.. but make one thread or such per subject.. like these busses abd then keep all posts in there.. so iuts easier to follow.. like a bus101 thread you have and then you have an about bus 101 thread.. and then a 5 busses 2 runners thread.. it confuses us sometimes is all..
LOL

No worries, it can be confusing when you first start out. As Christopher said, you can post as much as you want. But it's nice to keep a single thread going when possible so that it's easy to track the conversation so far.

When you have a new topic, then start a new thread. As you get more pics and more news on this bus, this is probably a good thread to keep going!

Congrats on getting a bus, and keep us updated as you work things out. There are many knowledgable people here that will be able to give good advice. The more you listen, the easier the conversion will be.

Can't wait to see more pics.

Edit: I see there is another bus 101 thread. That would also be a good one to keep going, just pick one and put all new posts in it

Congrats on the 101. Wishing you all the best on your build.

PigPen and Chris are correct in suggesting you follow up with ALL your future posts on this thread. Old guys like me have a hard time following more than one thought at a time :)

Does anyone know how to turn a bus that has no AC into one with AC

The current trend is to buy a mini-split system to air condition your bus. You will probably need to install insulation is you want to the AC to be effective.

how do you want to A/C? when parked and the engine off or when driving? the 2 are very distinctly different..

if you are plannin on super-insulating your bus and really working around getting rid of engine heat sources, then 2 mini splits can make you somewhat comfortable driving in hot weather in a full size bus.. thats assuming you have a way to run them when driving, ie a generator running..

being parked, 2 mini splits (24,000 BTU total) will keep you nice N cool as long as you have done some decent insulation in the walls and ceiling...

what is your plan of driving vs being parked? and how do ytou plan to power your bus when parked? generator? solar? plugged into shorepower outlet?

in my case i drive all the time so I have busses with regular road (engine driven) A/C.. basically like a car system only much larger.. and just a portable A/C that works off a large battery bank for the short times I want to run air while parked.
