connecting to msn.com

Here is my problem,
I can't connect to msn.com using either firefox or internet explorer. I can however connect to msn.com going through the AOL software using the free service on the same computers.

I can connect to msn using both firefox and IE using my sprint aircard on the same computers.
The home network is qwest dsl and 2 days ago it connected just fine and nothing has changed in the settings.

Does this make any sense?

For anyone wondering,
I ended up doing a complete reset and that made it work right again. And I was also able to get the slingbox working again next to the dish receiver so now when out on those paid weekend trips in the real school bus to where ever the school group or other group goes to I can watch the movie channels instead of just the cable.
