definitely needs work but has potential for the off griders who want to live in the desert, maybe - the article repeats that you can't get more energy out than is put in, but I wonder if the energy contained in the oxygen and the hydrogen is fully used or counted in the energy required to produce the urine - wouldn't surprise me that some of the new techniques of getting hydrogen from water wouldn't make this idea into something very useful - I'm a big fan of hydrogen's potential and I think I might see hydrogen powered on board generators in cars in the next very few years
