That sounds very much (physically) like the stove/oven in my bus. Mine is match light and has little pilots that will stay running once it has been lit once.

I don't know what (if anything) you would need to change.

I made some cardboard covers for the stove during storage and travel.

If it was formerly run on narural gas, most of the time the change is just in the gas orifice. We used to do this all the time with water heaters and hydronic boilers. It was cheaper just to stock one type and then have the orifices to go back and forth. I would talk to a local plumber, HVAC place, utility company, etc and see what they can do for you. IIRC the orifices are pretty generic.
