Converting a USA bus in Canada

Everything is cheaper in the United States even after conversion. And ordering on Amazon.ca is not half as good as Amazon.com. 90% of my online orders I get shipped to border storage then I go pick up every once in a while. Shipping into Canada is way more $$$ and waaay less selection. My conversion would’ve been much smoother if I was in the states.

And in regards to doing a conversion in Canada on an American registered bus; I’d call a US border and ask them, the reason is if you do that in reverse (alter a Canadian registered vehicle significantly the United States) and then try to bring it back into Canada you can run into some major fees and even possibly have to go through importing the vehicle even though it was already Canadian. The new part is considered foreign I guess...

As best I understand it, if you are a Canadian Citizen and bring a US bus into Canada you will have to go through the import process. There are a couple of folks here that have successfully imported US buses into Canada. I'm sure they would be willing to share their experiences with you.
I'm a Canadian citizen and I've done it. It's really not bad. The kicker is you have to import it as a commerical vehicle and than retitle it as an RV _after_ the import process is done 20190425_224520.jpg
