Hello there everyone! My name is Brandon and I'm new to this whole refurbished bus thing. I've seen a few in my time, even been in one, and I've reached a point in my life where the travelling life is both practical and obtainable.
So here's my conundrum... My Bus is going to be home for no less than 3 adults, and likely 4. It's not intended to be a 'vacation home' or a 'recreational vehicle', it's where we hope to live until the wheels fall off and we can't afford to put on new ones!
That being said, the dream is new, in its infancy. I'm still researching which type of bus best fits my needs, learning the costs of things you don't necessarily think about when you're dreaming (Hello Solar + Power Changer + $3600 batter), and all the fiddly bits that include things like..
well.. if you're experienced, you know what I'm talking about.
If you're new like me, we're going to discover it together now, aren't we?
I've learned a lot just by skimming this forum, and look to learn even more as the months go on and I start skimming. Construction starts (I Hope) in September of 2017, when we bring our bus (whatever she winds up being) home.
Her name, in case you hadn't guest... Is The Faradawn.
