Cummins injector seals

How much would injector seals cost to replace? What do y’all think of price? Thank you for your time.

It requires injector removal if it's the seals that I think they're talking about.

Could be an easy job if you're pretty mechanically inclined and ambitious.

As far as the seals go, you can get a kit for all 6 for 20 bucks or so.

Price isn't bad for a 12v cummins, as long as the bus isn't rusted out.

Should be done for around a few hundred bucks. Only takes a couple hours to remove and install injectors. That's if it's the injector seals, they didn't mention why it needs injector seals.

Why isn't it already done making the bus worth more for resale...?

As with any used car -- if you're not knowledgeable enough to carefully check it out -- pay a mechanic you trust to check it out.

Mine sure are. But I'm a mechanic, so anything that someone says to me about a repair is taken at face value.

It could be a good deal from someone who is done and just wants rid of it.

Or it could be a basket case being sold as a simple fix.

Everybody should always do their due diligence when making a purchase.

To the OP.
If you have no mechanical abilities, I'd look for something that is listed as problem free. Granted, that doesn't necessarily mean it is, but you have no way of checking it unless you have someone go through it for you.
