I’ve been buying doors from
Www.nicksbuilding.com for years.
Their prices are amazing and they do old fashion construction. Solid as hell.
Look at their site.
They have a lot of stock stuff but they do custom as well.
I’m going to have them build mine, I expect it to cost in the neighborhood of 1000-2000
You can get some absolutely stunning doors for 700-900 stock
1300 gets you a carved door.
So depends on materials and options

Second post just to add
For the best bang for your buck
You can stop searching at nicksbuilding
Anything you can draw they will make.
And VERY fair pricing.

Thanks, maybe I was not clear, but I am looking for a door to replace my front folding school bus door, I just want a plain white RV style door with a window in it. Made the size of the door opening nothing fancy

I flipped the forward piano hinge, then braced across the center folding spine, added a lock, and now it opens outward.

flawless and use it many times a day over last 2 years. didn't cost a penny

Tristate surplus $360 delivered, its a surplus site as the name states so there was a tiny dent the size of a dime but a hell of a deal compared to everywhere else I looked with a full Relight door.

That's the setup I'm going with! I love how you don't lose too much visibility.
I never understood how folks drive with a residential door stuck there.

If I were to do a door replacement, this would be a step in the right direction for me....a LARGE passenger side window for intersection that aren't 90*. Can be a beech making turns when you can't see properly out the window. My $.02

I bought a house full of doors from them. Great doors at low prices

That would be perfect, they don't have any now but I'll keep checking. Nice find

Yeah I’m having them make a custom designed door for our bus. A bit more expensive, $1950, but it’s full lite with Edwardian mullions, and triple insulated glass. And we got to draw our own design.

I have a question, Do they make driver door's for larger school buses? On this video, the school bus has a driver door. https://youtu.be/NAUaPGGOeyU And I was wondering, how often do school buses have the driver side air door?

pretty much all of your van cutaway style busses will have a normal driver door... New York City Spec requires a service door on both sides of their school busses.. the left side one is just behind the driver seat.. but it will also have a normal one.. that bus in the video is a 3400.. based on a 4700 Truck body. soi thats why it has a driver door... the 3400s are pretty rare..

It's still pretty cool a kid got a video of one. Are there any advantages of two front doors for the skoolies?

schools fight with that issue all the time in salt prone areas.. step-wells get salt spray from the road... and salty boots from the passengers.. I see a lot opf busses at the auctions from up north with rusty service-door step wells..

occasionally ive seen a school replace a step-well or make repairs.. but they usually last the school-service life of a bus..
