Hey everyone,
I am Daisy, a very seasoned traveller and chef, who normally travels between farms and communal places in towns where I can find people to cook for (sometimes it's a bunch of artists or students, sometimes it's the homeless or a family). My goal right now is to find a way to transport foods that I can assemble at farms, from San Francisco to Patagonia, that I can serve to hungry people everywhere. So my thought for the best way to to do this is to convert a short bus into the most efficient vessel possible.

I would love any input anybody has on this, as of right now I only have my own ideas that I have found in my research.

Thoughts are;
Running it on WVO with maybe a solar-powered engine warmer (is this a possibility?)
Having some solar panels on top
Use primitive cooking tools that don't need fuel (Cast iron stove maybe, solor oven, solar dehydrator) or possibly using electric cooking tools that can run from a couple of solar panels.

So, that's it for now, I don't have a bus yet, but some money saved up and I know I am very ignorant when it comes to mechanics and such, but it's all for the sake of feeding people everywhere and in a conscious manner, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I would suggest doing a LOT of research before committing to WVO. Far more complex than many would have you believe and won't really do a thing for the planet. Lots of very expensive mechanical issues related to WVO as well as Bio-Diesel. Not trying to be a nay-sayer, just have read too much about negative results.

Thank you, I am not quite committed to anything just yet. I am just trying to find an energy source that I won't have to buy once I am on the road. Ideally, I would love to use electric/solar, but I am not sure that is feasible yet, or is it?
