Desired Drivetrain/BusModel?

I can't find the thread where the 8.3 was being discussed as the "HolyGrail" drivetrain. What are the common drivetrains and what buses came with the desired highway combos. Lord knows the most common, the Cummins 5.9/AT545, is the least desirable.I'd be willing to pay a premium to have the right drivrtrain and have it be stock in the type bus I'm looking for.
